Monmouth Fairtrade Forum will be holding a Fairtrade Breakfast / Coffee Shop on Saturday 5 March from 9.30 till noon at Monmouth Priory.  There will be Fairtrade fruit + cereals + drinks for breakfast, + the usual array of homemade cakes using Fairtrade ingredients.

While the Fairtrade movement is usually associated with paying producers in developing countries a fair price, we extend the fair price principle to local producers so it will be local milk, butter, bread/toast, jam + marmalade.

There will be a stall selling Fairtrade products and, as it’s Spring, there will be a Transition Monmouth Swap Shop for seeds + plants, together with tools from Tools for Self Reliance Cymru to help you get your garden supplies stocked up.
